2022 CACTUS CLASSIC Thursday, March 24, 2022

Participation will be limited to 60 teams with priority being given to members who participated in the 2019 Cactus Classic (Pre-Covid).  Any Full Golf or Limited Seasonal member and their guest are invited to play in this year’s event. All players must have a current established USGA handicap. Per USGA Handicap recommendations there will NOT be an 8 Stroke Differential for the 2022 Cactus Classic event.

The format for the event will be five nine hole Match Play matches among the teams in six team flights.  The winners will advance to the final Shootout on Saturday afternoon.

The entry fee for 2022 will be $1,000 per team. This includes all Green and Cart fees, Tee Prizes, Flight Prize Money, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and more! There will be a 50% financial penalty for teams canceling after March 1, 2022.  A $333 deposit will be charged to the member’s account in January, February billing and the balance will be charged on the March billing.

2:30                Pari Mutuel Horse Race Betting Opens

3:30                Horse Race Event 

 Friday, March 25th

 Shotgun Starts at 8:00, 11:00, and 3:00        

3 rounds of match play with lunch served in between matches 2 and 3 

Putting and Chipping contests 

Stag Night Dinner

Saturday, March 26th

Shotgun starts at 8:00 and 11:00

2 rounds of match play

Shootout w/ Pari Mutuel begins at 3:30

Casino Night following play
